Dom Gouker advocates for businesses and individuals in disputes across a wide range of industries. Dom’s experience spans nearly all aspects of civil litigation, as well as arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution prior to initiation of formal process. He represents clients in numerous types of matters, including claims involving breach of contract, fraud, violation of securities laws, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate governance, noncompetition, and misappropriation of confidential information, among many others. Dom has also assisted clients in government and internal investigations and SEC enforcement actions.
Dom is known for applying thoughtful analyses of complex facts and law to develop and implement strategies that drive successful outcomes. He takes pride in tailoring the approach of any given matter to the size and scope of the dispute and the client’s particular goals and priorities. Although skilled in working collaboratively when useful, Dom is equally adept at zealous advocacy in contentious issues at all stages of litigation, including trial.
Prior to joining Donnelly, Conroy and Gelhaar, LLP in 2012, Dom was an associate for several years at Goodwin Procter LLP. In 2011, Dom spent six months as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, prosecuting hundreds of criminal cases and serving as lead counsel in more than a dozen jury and bench trials. Before attending law school, Dom taught children with developmental disabilities on the Massachusetts North Shore.
